While most people will never get through all of the booths, I’m here to share with you all of the best drinks and dishes, including some brand new items and tried-and-true favorites!
Kenyan Coffee Barbecue Beef Tenderloin with Sweet Potato and Corn Mealie Pap and Kachumbari Slaw (Africa)
This a new dish for this year’s festival! With so many red meat options at Food & Wine, I feel like a lot of the dishes are just okay, but this dish was so incredible! If you are a fan of coffee and flavorful meals, you will without a doubt love this dish.
Everything from Appleseed Orchard
This is a brand new marketplace for this year’s festival, and it is already a hit! Appleseed Orchard has quickly become a favorite among guests and will most definitely be here to stay. This market is located inside the Canada pavilion, and it has both air conditioning and cute, fall decor. On one side of the market is the wine bar and the other side is the cider bar! I recommend everything from here. The cider flights and wine flights are so good, and there are plenty of options! The Apple Blossom Sky (Fanta® Apple, Ginger Beer, Floodwall Apple Brandy, Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel Aged Syrup and Mini Marshmallows) drink comes in a plastic mule-inspired glass that you actually get to keep! The frozen apple pie drink is non-alcoholic and a perfect sweet drink option. The Charcuterie and Cheese Plate featuring Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel Aged Maple Syrup was the winner of this booth and was my favorite dish of the entire festival! At such a great price, the value and quality of this charcuterie and cheese plate cannot be beat. And before leaving this booth make sure to taste test the selection of maple syrups for free!
Canadian Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup served with a Pretzel Roll (Canada)
A fan favorite for years, the Canadian soup is a filling, soul-warming dish that is sure to keep you satisfied. This dish is especially great because cheese and bacon are the star of the soup, so who could not love it?! This soup is such a great value since they provide a generous portion of soup along with a full pretzel roll!
Crème Brûlèe: Crème Brûlèe with House-made Chocolate Hazelnut Cream (France)
While France has a creme brulee almost every year, the house-made choclate hazelnut cream flavoring in this creme brulee is brand new to 2019’s festival. This was one of the best desserts of the entire festival! Adding a new decadent layer to this classic dessert, the creme brulee with house-made chocolate hazelnut cream is a must-try!
Teriyaki Chicken Bun: Steamed Bun filled with Chicken, Vegetables and a Sweet Teriyaki Sauce (Japan)
Another fan favorite from last year is this delicious bun from Japan! With a soft exterior and flavorful sweet mixture on the inside, this dish is everything you could dream of. It is also a perfect option for kids and everyone in the family! If you are a fan of teriyaki flavoring, you should definitely try this dish immediately!
Tropical Mimosa with Sparkling Wine and Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava Juices (Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar)
The tropical mimosa from Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar will bring you all the feels of Hawaii in this delicious alcoholic drink. Featuring the famous POG you can find at the Polynesian Resort, this refreshing drink is the perfect way to cool off from the Epcot heat. I have yet to meet anyone who did not enjoy this drink!
Spanish-style Paella with Botifarra and Roasted Chicken (Spain)
A new dish for this year, the paella from Spain is the perfect way to introduce your palette to new flavors and tastes! This meal is hearty and oh so yummy for anyone who is a fan of paella. The portion is very generous, and this dish is a great value for the food quality and quantity you get.
Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, Parmesan Cheese and Pumpkin Seeds (Wine & Dine Studio)
This dish also was introduced last year and has quickly become a favorite for many guests! This is a great vegetarian option, and has such a smooth and delicate flavor. With several different flavors and textures, you will be able to get a perfect taste with every bite this dish. It also help gets you into the fall spirit with butternut squash and pumpkin flavors!
Artist Palette of Wine and Cheese: Trio of Artisan Cheeses paired with Reata Chardonnay, Rainstorm Silver Linings Pinot Noir Rosé and Spellbound Petite Sirah (Wine & Dine Studio)
The perfect dish for both foodies and wine lovers alike, the artist palette pairs delectable cheeses with their complementary wines to bring you a true food and wine experience.
Italian Margarita with Limoncello and Tequila (Italy)
A classic drink with a fruity twist, this drink is sure to satisfy anyone’s palette. Food & Wine Festival is always known for its incredible margaritas, and this one does not disappoint! If you are a fan of margaritas, definitely make sure to try this one out!
Since most guests heading to Epcot International Food & Wine Festival only get at most a day or two to truly explore the festival and try all the dishes and drinks they can, I hope this list of the must-try items at the 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival help you to have the best time ever eating and drinking around the world!
