Friday Favorites: 04/08/22
Happy Friday friends, and welcome back to the Friday Favorites segment! It has been several weeks since the last blog post. I was visiting my family Amelia Island, Florida for a while, and then I was feeling sick for about two weeks. We also started market back last weekend for the coffee cart, and so it has been a whirlwind! My first focus is always the coffee cart, so the blog had to be put on the back burner. I have also just been feeling off since I first got sick. I have been struggling with motivation for things as of late, so I am trying to prioritize rest and…
Friday Favorites: 03/18/2022
We are starting a new segment on the blog this week called, Friday Favorites! I’m going to be looking back on my week and sharing my favorite items, recipes, podcasts, people, books, etc. It is going to be a great way to share and recap my weeks, while also sharing all the things I’m loving currently. Also hoping this will help keep me accountable on getting out more blog posts each week! I hope you all have had a lovely week! It was honestly a very chill week in the Lovett household, and my goal this week was to truly embrace it. We catered a wedding late Saturday for the…
Race Recap: Publix Atlanta Half Marathon 2022
Friends, I ran another race! This was only a half-marathon, but it was truly a feat in itself. Take cooler temperatures, an already hilly course, never-ending rainfall, and 13.1 miles and let’s just say the Publix Atlanta Half Marathon was the hardest race I have ever ran. Let me start by saying, I feel like this was my first big girl race! We started by attending the Publix Atlanta Marathon Weekend Expo this past Saturday (February 26th), and it was so much fun. They held it at the Georgia Aquarium, which was a first for this race. While you were in a separate ballroom to the side of the aquarium…

Running My First Marathon
On October 8, 2021, I finally ran my first marathon. It still doesn’t feel real, mostly because it was an entirely virtual race, meaning there was no finish line or cheering crowds. It also was easily the most difficult run of my life. While the finish line was virtual, the miles to get there were not any less real. Running usually comes easy to me, which made the training for this first marathon both easier and harder. I signed up for the race originally in the spring of this year, but after an insanely busy spring and summer, I did not end up starting my training till July. In July…
Autumn Bucket List
As we fully enter into October, I wanted to share with you all my autumn bucket list! I find myself wanting to be more intentional with how I spend my days and time, and I believe bucket lists are a great way to do that. People often use the phrase “romanticizing their life” to describe making simple, ordinary moments of their life into beautiful experiences. I want this bucket list to help me romanticize this autumn season and to live it to the fullest! bake pumpkin chocolate chip bread/muffins It would not be a real fall without some baking and all things pumpkin. I love pumpkin because while some…
Mid-Year Reading Wrap Up 2021
Now that it is August (slightly past mid-year), I wanted to share my mid-year reading wrap up 2021! 2021 has been a slightly chaotic year in our household, with lots of transitions and busy days, so I am behind on schedule for reading 52 books this year. Since January 1st of this year my reading list has totaled 17! I have also listened to many audiobooks (almost done with the Harry Potter series) and re-read many books in my collection, but this list will only include new-to-me books from this year. Keep reading to see what books I have read so far in 2021 (in order of highest rated to…
